Young children aren’t the only ones who need to exercise to keep their minds sharp and two toys that will help with that are Loopz and Scrabble Flash. These are two of the popular toys for 2010 and with good reason. They offer versatility by making it fun for a person to play the game alone or with others. That’s something that games creators have started doing to reach a larger portion of the market.
Loopz by Mattel is really a fun game and anyone who remembers the Merlin game will enjoy this new take on a memory game. The idea of the game is to follow the pattern of the Loopz that flash and play a tune by inserting your hand into the Loopz in the right order, breaking the motion sensor field. The pattern gets longer and faster as you get more correct. After three missed attempts, the game is over and you have to start again. There are seven different games that can be played with one or more players.
Scrabble Flash by Hasbro is a new take on the classic game of scrabble with no board required. Instead of the board, the players use five tiles to create words between 3 and 5 letters long. The flash cubes know when a word is formed and even keep score. Scrabble Flash has 3 different games to play alone or with a group and this is great to help with quick thinking skills and. Not recommended for children under 3-years-old because of the potential choking hazard but all other ages will welcome this new twist on a favorite game.
